People should stop bullying because, it’s ruining children's lives, and that can lead to depression and suicide. Bullying is not a joke. If you did not know, bullying is known as peer abuse, but why is it actually known as peer abuse? Well, research shows that bullying is known as peer abuse because it is a very aggressive behavior! It is aggressive behavior because bullying is when someone is repeatedly using words or actions to try to hurt someone. One example is, bullies may say nasty comments to another, hit another, spit on another, or tease another. This can actually affect people's lives!

How can bullying affect another person's life? Well, bullying can affect people's lives because they may have feelings of sadness, and they may feel lonely, and that can cause people who are bullied to have mental health problems. In addition, crisistextline.org states that people who are bullied may experience headaches, and even some depression. Furthermore, they can experience serious problems as well! Such as being insecure, and having anxiety. All of these things children go through because they get bullied, can cause children to lose their confidence, and start to get bad grades. Parents may start to notice changes in their child's behavior too. Based on what I read, children may start to change their personality, and become moody. This is just showing how much bullying is affecting children.

Many children and teens start to speak about how they felt when they got bullied. Pacerteensagainstbullying.org states that many children had to go through this tough part of their life. Many students talk about how they felt miserable, and others talk about how bullying affected them A LOT. Children who have been bullied might even have a fear of being bullied, because of how much they had to go through it. It's a scary thing to go through. More students on different days and months spoke about how they are sick of getting bullied, and how it is hurting them. Research shows that this can make kids who are bullied feel bad about themselves, so they isolate themselves from people they know, family, and their own friends. This can ruin their adult life from all the trauma they had from when they were a kid.

Many people wonder, can bullying lead to suicide. The answer is, yes. Many children have wistfully committed suicide because they have been bullied. The reasoning is, bullying is a form of abuse that can lead to mental and behavioral issues. Bullying can even go so far, it can lead to serious injuries. Bullyingstatics.org states that there are 4,400 deaths per year, and also 7 percent of high school students have attempted suicide because of bullying. There are many stories of many people who have committed suicide because of bullying as well. A young girl Mallory Grossman unfortunately committed suicide after she got bullied throughout the year by her own classmates. She was only a 12 year old girl. According to washingtonpost.com, before Mallory Grossman died, she couldn't even do the things she loved because she faced bullying from students. Students would tease young Mallory Grossman, hit her, and they would ask her when would she be to committing suicide. After a while, on June 14, 2017, Mallory Grossman committed suicide and died.

In conclusion, people should just stop bullying because it is ruining childrens lives, and that can lead to depression and suicide. This learned behavior is having people dying, and have mental health problems. This is why people who watch another person getting bullied, need to do something about it. Therefore, bullying is not right, and shouldnt be tolerated. There are consequences to everyone's actions.
